​Located just outside of Chattanooga TN, the Highlands Riding Center,  is a non-profit organization formerly known as Hixson Therapeutic Riding Program that was started in 2009. At the Highlands Riding Center, we offer a variety of services and strive to create a close-knit community that fosters a fun and safe learning environment. We offer several lesson options for riders of all levels including therapy. We have discovered that through a relationship with horses, students discover skills such as commitment, hard work, leadership, confidence and awareness as well as harmony, balance, courage, and accomplishment. Horses offer us the ability to look inside ourselves and experience a whole new level of being. HRC encourages you to come out and discover the power these magnificent animals hold.
